Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 reviews:

The menu system on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 is advanced slightly from the Lumix GF3. Instead the changes are aesthetic, but the increased processing power of the camera allows for some improvements, such as the use of sample photos in the menu to illustrate different creative effects. More about this and handling, modes and controls of new Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 you can read on digitalcamerainfo.com website.

With the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5, Panasonic reaffirms its commitment to a small, consumer-focused compact system camera with limited controls and a touchscreen interface. You can learn more about this and comparisons with other similar cameras if you read Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 review on imaging-resource.com website.

Small and stylish, it’s an easy to use digital camera that’s capable of excellent image quality. Upgrade highlights over the previous model include a new finger grip, a metallic lens mount, a much improved LCD monitor and new additions to the range of on-board digital filters.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC GX1

Panasonic Lumix DMC GX1 reviews:

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 has an abundance of external control points and an responsive and intuitive touchscreen interface that make the GX1 a very pleasant camera to use. Users of any current G-series camera wil feel right at home navigating the camera’s menu structure which is laid out in a sensible, if not particularly efficient tabbased multiple page interface. You can read more about operations and controls of this camera on Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 review by dpreview.com. This website says:

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 offers a unique handling and operational experience, not out of sheer innovation, but in large part due to its combination of internal specs and external design found in the G3 and GF1 models respectively. The AF system is fast and reliable; among the best we’ve seen from any G-series model.

Panasonic Lumix Gx1 image

New Panasonic GX1

The Panasonic Lumix GX1 has a shading compensation feature that can help reduce the effects of vignetting, but Panasonic cautions that use of shading compensation may cause noise in the periphery of the picture to stand out with higher ISO sensitivities. More about that you can find on Panasonic Lumix GX1 review by digitalcamerareview.com.

The Lumix GX1 offers a 1080i movie mode that captures at 50 fields per second (output at 25 fps for the PAL release or 1080i60 output at 30 fps in the US’s NTSC model). The lack of a microphone port on this model is something of a surprise as the inclusion of a hotshoe and other high-end features would suggest additional audio capabilities would be on the cards. More details you can read on LUMIX GX1 review by whatdigitalcamera.com. At the end of review, this website conclude:

he GX1 is an accomplished camera that’ll be well suited to more demanding photographers. Compared to its Compact System Camera competitors Panasonic’s latest has a fine balance of physical system size to image quality ratio. The huge array Micro Four Thirds lenses available also makes the G-series all the more attractive.

The Panasonic Lumix GX1 produces images of excellent quality. It produces noise-free images at ISO 100 to 800, with limited noise starting to appear at ISO 1600. More about the image quality of Lumix GX1 and image tests results you can find on photographyblog.com.

Another great Panasonic Lumix DMC GX1 review comes from digitalcamerainfo.com There you can read more about distorsion, noise reduction, sharpness and other GX1’s characteristics as well you can see a lot of sample images made by Lumix DMC-GX1. This website concludes:

The GX1 is a fine camera through and through. Image quality is arguably the best that we’ve seen from the Micro Four Thirds format—it’s a toss-up with last year’s G3, which is built around very similar components, but we give the edge to the new kid.

Like previous G-series cameras the new GX1 employs a contrast-based AF system. Most of the options are inherited from the G3, although Panasonic has added a new AFF mode and claims the AF speed is now quicker than before. DMC G 3 Silver

New Panasonic Lumix DMC G3

The verdict of trustedreview about Lumix DMC G3 is:

Overall, we’re mightily impressed by the specifications, handling, performance and overall image quality of the G3. Having spent some extended shooting time with it, we’re confident enough to say that it’s Panasonic’s best G-series model yet. Yes, the omission of an external microphone input will sadden some video enthusiasts, and the lack of an eye-sensor is an inconvenience but as an all-rounder, it excels. If you’re looking to buy into the micro system camera genre, you should definitely consider the G3.

Panasonic DMC TZ10 Reviews

Here are the most popular reviews of Panasonic Lumix TZ10 digital cameras.

TrustedReviews  features a TZ10 review and the camera receives 10 out of 10 points for  build quality and features with 8 points for image quality. They found the video quality to be good in decent light and they were impressed by the audio quality  of the footage. Also the Power OIS optical image stabilisation system gets appreciated and rated extremely effective. The verdict is straight forward:

The Panasonic Lumic DMC-TZ10 is a well-designed, solidly built and extremely versatile camera with a lot of useful features. The 12x zoom, optical image stabilisation, HD video and excellent low light performance are the main benefits, and manual exposure is a nice bonus. The GPS feature is a bit of a gimmick, and drains the battery too fast to be much real use.

Another great TZ10 review come from Photography Blog. They found the GPS feature improved over the older models but ometimes the user needs to  manually update the satellite lock whic affects the battery life. The 12x zoom is appreciated and the image quality is rated as “very good” with 4 points out of 5. The camera gets 5/5 points for features and gets the “Highly recommended”  award:

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 is an excellent travel-zoom camera, with the notable additions of manual shooting modes and GPS tracking sure to continue the TZ success story….

…There aren’t too many compact cameras that offer such a compelling combination of size, features, image quality and handling, easily making the TZ10 deserving of our Highly Recommended award.

Another great Panasonic TZ10 review comes from CameraLabs. They appreciate the big optical zoom and the compact body of the camera.  Also they appreciate the manual exposure controls, the good looking lcd screen, the HD movie recording and the new image stabilization system. Overall the camera gets 87% score and the “Highly Recommended” Badge :

Panasonic may no longer have the compact super-zoom market to itself, but the latest Lumix TZ10 / ZS7 remains a highly compelling camera that’s likely to sell by the bucket-load…There’s very little this camera won’t do

Another shorter review comes from PocketLint. They write:

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 provides a superb general snapping tool in terms of the subjects its lens focal length can encompass. Image quality is on a par with similar cameras and the features list is particularly impressive at the price too making the TZ10 great value for money.
