Ricoh GR Digital IV reviews:

The Ricoh GR Digital IV’s new autofocus system really does improve the performance of this compact camera. Focusing is swift and even in macro mode it proved generally assured and reliable. More about this you can find on Ricoh GR Digital IV review from techradar.com

The Ricoh GR Digital IV features a rubberised hand grip that surrounds the front and back of the camera. The bottom of the camera has rubber feet to keep it from sliding when placed on a table or smooth surface. More about handling, controls and menus of GR Digital IV you can find if you read Ricoh GR Digital IV review of ephotozine.com website.

In Ricoh GR Digital IV review of photographyblog.com, you can find that this compact camera handled chromatic aberrations very well with limited purple fringing effects appearing only in high contrast situations and you can also learn about noise, sharpening and more.

Another Ricoh GR Digital IV review comes from steves-digicams.com website. Here you can read more about controls, menus and handling and you can see more sample images.

In Ricoh GR Digital IV review, the whatdigitalcamera.com website concludes:

There’s an awful lot to like about the GRD IV. Image quality is fantastic,  the model’s utilitarian design makes for an excellent shooting experience and the LCD screen is one of the best that we’ve seen on a compact camera. The model won’t be to everyone’s taste however – it boasts a price tag which is comparable with a host of CSC models, thus making it almost a luxury compact, and with holes in the specification such as the lack of HD video capture, the price tag looks even higher. However, if you’re happy to make certain compromises for the sake of image quality and a pure shooting experience overall, the the GRD IV is well worth a look.

Canon EOS-1D X reviews:

The Canon EOS 1Dx adopted several design cues and controls that bring it right in line with how some lower-end models operate. The two noticeable examples of this on the rear of the camera are the dedicated live view button and the “quick” menu button. More about handling and controls you can read on digitalcamerainfo.com website.

The Canon EOS 1DX AF sensor is larger than any previous 1D/1Ds body. The vertical measurement remains 8mm but the horizontal measurement increased from 15 mm to 19 mm. More technical details and comparisons with other DSLR cameras you can read on Canon EOS-1DX review from the-digital-picture.com website.

In Canon EOS-1DX review, the techradar.com website says that in the past Canon has given professional photographers two options: a high-speed model (EOS-1D MK IV) for reportage, sport and action work or a high-resolution model (EOS-1D MKIII) for studio use. The EOS-1Dx now addresses both markets.

Fujifilm X-S1 superzoom camera

Fujifilm X-S1 reviews:

There are a few reviews of Fujifilm X-S1.

From ISO 100 – 800 RAW and JPEG shots are very good with new X-S1. Although image quality deteriorates from ISO 3200 – 6400 it is still an improvement compared to the rest of current superzoom market. More about image quality you can read on Fujifilm X-S1 review from whatdigitalcamera.com. This website says about X-S1:

The X-S1′s larger sensor goes a long way in improving overall image quality in regards to image noise. In fact we’d say the X-S1 has better image quality and lower noise than any other superzoom camera out there, though it won’t quite beat the majority of Compact System Cameras

The new Fujifilm X-S1 offers plenty of image processing customisation options that variously allows to boost highlit detail and to expand the perceived dynamic range of camera. You can learn more about this reading the Fujifilm X-S1 review from trustedreviews.com.

tilting LCD display of X-S1

Fujifilm X-S1 display

The Fuji X-S1 looks and handles like a professional camera and sports a design and finish nearly up there with the semi-pro DSLR that one could otherwise buy for the some price. On Fujifilm X-S1 review, the techradar.com website says:

The Fuji X-S1 is an ideal purchase for the photography nut looking for one camera that can do it all, and prepared to compromise on having image quality not quite on a par with a semi-pro DSLR that one could buy for a similar outlay.

Another Fujifilm X-S1 great review comes from digitalcamerainfo.com. You can read here about standard auto mode and more exotic EXR auto mode available on Fuji X-S1. The EXR mode is the best way to approach automatic shooting.

The Fujifilm X-S1 offers a full range of conventional shooting functions each enabling users to fine tune colour image sharpness and tone. More about this you can read on Fuji X-S1 review by photoreview.com.au.

Sony Alpha NEX-5N reviews:

The image quality of Sony NEX-5N is excellent. The 16.1 MP sensor in the NEX-5n is capable of capturing images that rival some of the best APS-C format DSLRs on the market. More technical detail, sample videos and photos you can see on the Sony NEX-5N review from dpreview.com. This website says amonf other things, about this Sony camera:

The NEX-5N is a well built, solid camera that fits comfortably in the hand and fells quite secure with it’s large hand grip (compared to to other mirrorless compacts). The articulated screen makes it easy to shoot from a low vantage point without having to bend down.

The automatic white balance on the Sony NEX-5N performs well in daylight and under fluorescent lighting but not so well of indoor incadescent lighting. The custom white balance performs well to, able to control for color temperatures that the automatic setting would not. More about these things and also test results you can find on Sony Alpha NEX-5N review from digitalcamerainfo.com
